Full Description
SK 285401. A concentration of worked flint was found whilst fieldwalking in 1979. The flint included waste flakes, implements and cores and covered an area of about 30 by 50 metres at the bottom of a valley slope next to a spring. SK 285402. A concentration of 69 flints was found during fieldwalking in two adjoining fields. (1) It is not clear from the single six-figure grid reference exactly which two fields are being referred to.
