Full Description
Disturbed ground adjacent to Bubble Springs the site of the collapsed sough tail. (1). Probably started 1741 to 1742 and reached Bateman House by 1764. Continued by London Lead Company until reached Forefield shaft in 1774, along sole of Lathkill Dale Vein. Parts bricked up in 1854 to stop River Lathkill disappearing into mine workings. (2).
