Gate piers and gates, Spondon School, Park Road, Derby, of 18th century date.
'(SK 39633609, sited from HHR map), a pair of 18th century ashlar gateways with round-headed arches and rusticated walling, leading to Spondon Upper School and Adult Centre, Park Road. Formerly the entrance to the now demolished Field House. The gateway on the north side retains a simple wrought iron gate. Grade 2*.' (1)

2. C18. A pair of ashlar gateways With round headed arches, rusticated walling, archivolts; upright consoles on small attached pilasters at sides; vermiculated keyblocks to each and cornice and pediment. Gateway on north side retains simple wrought iron gate. Field House itself has been demolished.
