Full Description

There are several features showing on an aerial photograph at Sinfin Golf Course. There is a sub-rectangular feature at SK 356 323 showing distinctly on a high RAF vertical; and another one possibly to the northeast. (1, 3) There is a rectangular feature at SK 356 320, with possible other features to the south and the east. (2, 3) Comparison with aerial photographs taken in 1945, 1948, 1967 and 1989 shows that the 'enclosures' are in fact earlier tees or putting greens of the golf course. (4)
