[SK 35244752]. The base and socket of the old cross, probably coeval with the mid-13th century chapel, is sited opposite the porch of St.John the Baptist's Church, Belper. The lintel stone of the porch is thought to be the shaft. (1)
Situated at SK 3524547521, the shaft with a 17th century inscription has been re-inserted in the socket. See G.P's AO/66/8/2 & 3. (2)
