'PARISH OF DRONFIELD HALLOWES LANE SK 37 NE 6/38 Golf Club Locker Room to Hallowes Golf Clubhouse GV II Golf club locker room, formerly farm outbuildings. Late C16, with subsequent alterations and C20 additions. Coursed coal measures sandstone with quoins, and a stone slated roof, hipped at the east end. Single storey, six bays incorporating, within the stone wall, full height jowel posts of an earlier timber framed building. The posts support collar and tie beam trusses, the tie beams being supported by transverse braces rising from the jowel posts. The two most easterly trusses were altered when the roof was hipped. The centre bay retains evidence on the north wall of a tall double opening, possibly to give access to a central threshing floor.
