Full Description

Probable cropmark enclosure of unknown date seen as an asymmetric polygonal enclosure, 70m by 60m, defined by 1 ditch on 5 sides. Internal and/or attached features are present. Mapped using good quality AP's. Within this enclosure was a second enclosure (FR.74.1.2) which is described below. Centred at SK 2112 1472 (Morph No. FR.74.1.1). Probable cropmark enclosure of unknown date seen as an asymmetric polygonal enclosure, 22m by 18m, defined by 1 ditch on 4 sides, with 1 entrance. Mapped using good quality AP's. Centred at SK 2114 1474. (Morph No. FR.74.1.2) The enclosure FR.74.1.1 has a slight extension of its north east side to incorporate the inner enclosure (FR.74.1.2), suggesting that the inner enclosure was constructed first.
