Full Description

Low cairn with an extension to the north, C. 1x2m and overall diameter of 8.5m. (1,2) A low mound of surface worn gritstones standing in open moorland on the crest of a minor escarpment. Cairn measures 9m x 8m and stands approximately 0.3m high. Extending from the cairn to the north is a platform of stones. Large kerb stones are present in the outer rim of the cairn. There is minor disturbance at the centre, the majority being intact. Thought to be funerary and Early Bronze Age in date. (3)
