Full Description

There is a complex of buildings situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. It is labelled as a pottery on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900, and named as 'Rosehill Pottery (Sanitary Earthenware)' on the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 20th century. (1-3) The complex is labelled as 'Works' on the OS map of 1977. (4) The site is in use for light engineering [1994]. There are some remnants of original buildings. (5) The works are no longer present on modern OS mapping [2014]. (6)
