Full Description

A Pottery is named on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps of 1888 and 1902. Two round structures shown on these maps are presumably kilns (1, 2). The buildings are not named on the 1925 edition and the kilns appear to have been demolished. (3) The site is shown as 'Works' in 1977. (3, 4) The site is now [in 1994] in use as a car dealership within an older industrial building; no kilns were seen. (5).
