Full Description

An examination of good quality aerial photographs revealed probable post-medieval coal workings consisting of earthwork spoil heaps and hollows. Centred at: SK 3263, SK 3215 1995, SK 3200 2015. (1) The indicated areas are part of a larger area of disturbed ground south of an unnamed stream. It has now all reverted to pasture. (2)
