Full Description

Ridge and furrow complex south of the Uttoxeter Road at Guinea Farm identified from aerial photographs and plotted at a scale of 1:10000. (1) A ground survey of the proposed Foston-Rolleston pipe-line route, revealed that several fields to the south of Guinea Farm contained medieval ridge and furrow earthworks in varying degrees of preservation. (2) Medieval ridge and furrow earthworks were identified from aerial photographs taken in 1999. (3)
