Abstract/Summary
Report on an evaluation comprised of the excavation of 19 trial trenches, carried out in advance of the proposed construction of up to 1200 residential units and associated infrastructure. This work followed from a 2007 evaluation to the southeast of this particular development area. A multi-phase Roman settlement was recorded. Later, in 2017, a strip, map and sample excavation took place.
