Abstract/Summary
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 4.7 hectares of grassland; an area outlined as part of a quarry extension. Former enclosures and pits were identified as evidence of former settlement activity, along with areas of ridge and furrow cultivation. The settlement is likely to extend to the west where the data is masked by a large area of made ground. A linear anomaly and areas of pitting may also be archaeological origin.
