Gate and gate piers to northwest of Iretonwood House, Ireton Wood, Idridgehay and Alton, built c1850. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 24 NE 3/46 PARISH OF IDRIDGEHAY AND ALTON IRETON WOOD Gates and gate piers north west of Iretonwood House II Gate piers and gates. c1850. Ashlar gritstone gate piers, square on plan, with moulded stone caps and ball finials. Ornate wrought iron gates with decorative round-arched overthrow, hanging from narrow ornamental openwork wrought iron panels. Listing NGR: SK2796147858.' (1)
