Full Description

Possible moated site, Horsleygate Old Hall, Horsleygate Lane, Holmesfield, of unknown date. A rectangular earthwork is shown on the 25" 1st edition OS map of c1880, roughly containing the footprints of Horsleygate Old Hall and its outbuildings (please see linked records). The earthwork is still shown on the 2nd edition OS map, and the 3rd edition OS map.
