Horsleygate Old Hall, Horsleygate Lane, Holmesfield, a late 16th century building.
'SK 31087695 Old Horsleygate Hall. 17th century L-shaped house mentioned in an inventory of 1635. Mullioned windows. 2 storey with loft. Tall barn and outbuildings behind, with some 17th century mullions.' (1)

'PARISH OF HOLMESFIELD HORSLEYGATE LANE SK 37 NW 5/158 (North Side) Horsleygate Old Hall 31.1.67 (formerly listed as Lower Farm) GV II Farmhouse. Late C16. Rubble coal measures sandstone with ashlar dressings, quoins, coped gables to west end and brick ridge end stacks, formerly stone. Stone slated roof. 'L' plan house, with an offshut extension to north elevation. South elevation. Two storeys, three bays, with stacked 3-light recessed chamfer mullioned windows, formerly with casements, now without glazing. Central doorway with chamfered quoined surround, and plain planked door. Above the doorway, a single light opening with chamfered surround. East elevation with central doorway, with quoined surround and massive lintel, with slightly cambered soffit. To the north of the doorway a 5-light ovolo moulded mullioned window, with a 4-light example above, both unglazed. The offshut has a 4-light ovolo mullioned window. Interior. Oak spine beams to ground floor are chamfered and stopped, and the rear room has moulded joists. Contemporary hearths survive in the ground floor rooms.
