Lychgate of churchyard at St Anne's Church, Church Street, Baslow and Bubnell, erected in 1890. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF BASLOW & BUBNELL CHURCH LANE SK 27 SE 3/22 (South Side) Lychgate to Churchyard of Baslow Parish Church GV II Lychgate. 1890. Sandstone ashlar and timber. Plain tile roof with small gabled ventilators. Square in plan. Ashlar walls to half height, with chamfered copings. Timber superstructure with diagonal panelling beneath a middle rail and open trefoil arched lights above, four to each side, returning for one bay around each corner. Openwork gables with double curved braces and trefoiled arch over the entrance with foliage carving. Carved inscriptions on the bargeboards, to north In loving Memory of Mary Wilson late of Sheffield Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord for they rest from their Labour and to the south Anno Domini 1890 and carved leaf motifs. Panelled gates with open trefoil motifs. Listing NGR: SK2516272373.' (1)
