Gate and gate piers, Locko Park, Dale Abbey, probably built c1850. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF DALE ABBEY LOCKO ROAD SK 43 NW (north side) 5/19 Gates and gate piers approximately 70 yards south east of Locko Park GV II Gates and gate piers forming the outer entrance to the carriage sweep at Locko Park. Probably 1850s by Henry Stevens. Ashlar and wrought iron. Two gate piers, square in plan, with panelled sides, moulded tops supported on dentils, and urn finials. Low abutment walls on each side. Pair of wrought iron gates with openwork iron piers. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK4099238606.' (1)
