Abstract/Summary

Six trial trenches excavated in selected locations did not reveal any features of archaeological interest. During fieldwork, surface finds within the assessment area included sherds of Romano-British pottery. A rapid fieldwalking survey was carries out over arable land. The results indicate which areas are most likely to contain archaeological remains associated with human activity.
