Abstract/Summary

Report on an evaluation, comprised of the excavation of ten trial trenches, carried out in 2007 in advance of a large proposed development. Probable medieval ridge and furrow was recorded in the southeast of the site in addition to evidence of rural Roman settlement comprised of gullies, a probable enclosure ditch and a possible pit. This work would later be followed by an evaluation in 2014 and an excavation in 2017.
