Approximate site of a medieval chapel, later used as a school, and rebuilt in 1710. It was demolished when a new school was built further to the north in 1846 (see SMR 3927). Also the probable location of a medieval holy well.

A grade I listed 12th century parish church, with later additions and alterations. Possibly on the site of an earlier church.

Evidence for medieval occupation has been found at this site during excavation. Pits indicative of medieval burgage plots were excavated, probably dating to the 12th-13th century, and possibly cess pits.
