The upper stone of a Romano-British beehive gritstone quern that was ploughed up in the 1970s. Two alternative findspots are given, but it is assumed that both relate to the same find.

Romano-British settlement, including hut circles and a kerb, excavated in 1908 and more recently. Finds include prehistoric and Roman period material.

Underground and surface remains of lead mines which worked from mid 17th to mid 19th centuries. Incorporated are Roman bell pits and hollows.

Highfield Hall Primary School, Highfield Road, Chesterfield, an 18th or 19th century building.

Roman bronze object, possibly part of a horse trapping, found in or before 1972.

A bole was found in 1783 'near Matlock Bank' - exact location unknown

The NGR given is for Stanage Pole itself and it is likely that the coin was not found at this precise spot. SMR entries 11344 and 11345 are possibly duplicates of this find.
