A grade II listed house built circa 1830. It is a highly characteristic example of a late Georgian cottage ornee, which was adapted for use as a farmhouse later in the 19th century, when the adjoining farm buildings were added.

A 'rock surface' was encountered below ground level when the land was in use as allotments - tentatively identified as the possible course of Ryknield Street

Roman remains excavated in 1989 and interpreted as representing Roman military activity; possibly a military gate marking a defence line running north-south. See SMR 3970 also.

Cropmark complex including cursus, Neolithic/Iron Age barrows, probable henge, Iron Age/Romano British field systems, settlements and ditches at Aston upon Trent. Medieval ridge and furrow cropmarks/earthworks have also been identified in this area.

Remains of a late Neolithic to Bronze Age chambered tomb excavated in 1843. Site is 260m south-east Rockhurst Farm.

Scheduled medieval settlement or shrunken village. Excavation in 1986 revealed Romano-British features.
